This page explains what data the Claude Code Daily Digest collects, why, and what you can do about it. In short: to send you the newsletter we need your email address and nothing else.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Juan Pazmino B, AI Consultant, based in Spain (EU). For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, reach out at info@juanpazminob.com.
What we collect and why
- Newsletter. When you subscribe, we collect your email address and use it for one purpose only: sending you the daily digest. The legal basis is your consent, confirmed through double opt-in (you click a link in a confirmation email before anything is sent).
- Email metadata. Our email provider may record whether messages are delivered, opened, or clicked, so the list stays healthy. We do not use this to build personal profiles.
- Site analytics. The website uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights — aggregate, privacy-friendly, and cookieless. They do not identify you.
- Chat assistant. If you use the “Asistente IA” chat, your messages are sent to Anthropic to generate a reply. Please don’t type sensitive personal information into it.
Who processes your data
We rely on a few providers that act on our behalf. We never sell your data or share it for advertising.
- Buttondown — newsletter delivery (USA). Handles your email address so we can send the digest. See Buttondown’s privacy policy.
- Vercel — hosting and site analytics.
- Anthropic — powers the chat assistant’s replies.
International transfers
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where your data leaves the EU, the transfer relies on appropriate safeguards such as the providers’ Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
Your email stays on the list until you unsubscribe — every email includes an unsubscribe link. After you opt out, our provider may keep a minimal suppression record so we don’t accidentally email you again.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and Spain’s LOPDGDD, you can access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or port your data, and withdraw consent at any time (just unsubscribe). To exercise any of these, contact us at info@juanpazminob.com. You also have the right to complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
Cookies
The site does not use tracking cookies. Your light/dark theme preference is stored locally in your own browser and never sent to us.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
